Since rumours were first announced on social media, I’ve wanted to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
A huge Harry Potter fan, I kept looking into tickets and noticing that they sold out quickly and that a lot of restricted view seats were only available. After many times refreshing the website page whilst at work, (sssshhhhh) it was my turn to buy some tickets. I picked a mid-week showing as a more variety of tickets were available compared to weekends. I had to book for over a year in advance as all other dates had sold out. But I finally managed to get some front row seats (of the dress circle – no restricted view for us!) for myself and my other Harry Potter mad friends.
We are going to Platform 9 & ¾ at Kings Cross for a photo op and a bit of shopping, then hit the large Primark which stocks a huge amount of Harry Potter merchandise (because you can never have enough, plus it’s a lot cheaper). Part 1 of the play, dinner Part 2 of the play and then an evening of cocktails! Catch the tube back to our hotel and judge in the morning to see if we have enough time to fit something in and have enough time to get home before the school pick up!
